Cook's Tavern in its original setting, ca. 1955.
Built by Michael Cook Senior between 1822-24, and located just west of Aultsville. The original tavern was destroyed in 1813 after playing a pivotal war in the Battle of Crysler's Farm. Cook later received a grant to rebuild the tavern. The building was moved to Upper Canada Village in the 1950s.Source: Ontario - St. Lawrence Development Commission

The Aultsville railway station, Crysler Park
