Mill Engine, "150 H.P. Corliss" |
The new 30-stamp mill is most excellent, and both the building and all the machinery and plant are models of their kind.
|
There seems to be no reason why the 30 stamps can not now be kept continuously at work and the supply of ore for them ought to be obtained without much trouble. The number of tons crushed per month ought, therefore, to exceed 2,000 or say 24,000 tons per annum.
At the present moment, using steam power, we may take, therefore, the cost of milling, milling, etc., at the above-mentioned figure, viz., $3.00 per ton. |
